We have no upper age limit, but we do not allow anyone under 18 years of age to stay with us. This is because we hold a bar license, which restricts us from allowing under 18’s in. This means there can be no exceptions at all.

Yes we have a bar, a real bar, with pool tables and everything. We sell beers, ciders, and spirits all for the cheapest prices we can manage. The bar is open until at least 1am most nights and 3am on weekends, sometimes 5am if there are lots of people around.

In the bar we have a Wii console set up for you to play anytime. Just ask the staff for the wiimote controllers (although you will have to leave some id).

Its also the bar, but in it we sell Coffees and Teas, Hot Chocolates, Freshly squeezed Orange Juice and best of all, fresh fruit smoothies.

Every Sunday night we have been hosting an open mike night in our bar. Locals and Backpackers get up and have a play or a sing. We have some instruments available, including an electronic drum kit, and all performers get a free beer from Carlsberg.
Even if you are staying at another hostel in Edinburgh, you should come up, anyone over 18 is welcome. Every Sunday.
